Navenby Substation

National Grid plans to build a substation on agricultural land off Heath Lane, Navenby.

The development is large-scale industrialisation in its own right, but is also the enabler for many thousands of acres of solar panels, cables, transformers, 50 metre high pylons, security fences, cameras, maintenance compounds, and huge battery storage plants around our villages. It will destroy our farmland and open countryside for us, our children and our children’s children.

The villages affected include Navenby; Wellingore; Welbourn; Leadenham; Coleby; Boothby Graffoe; Bassingham; Scopwick; Thorpe on the Hill; Aubourn; Brant Broughton; Carlton Le Moorland; Norton Disney; Metheringham; Ashby de la Launde; Thurlby; Witham St Hughs; Haddington; Stragglethorpe; Hykeham; Swinderby; Cranwell; Fulbeck; Caythorpe.

If you object to this, please follow the instructions below. It will generate an evidence-based objection in line with your concerns. You can review, edit and add your own comments.

Your submission will then be sent to North Kesteven District Council.
